Health psychology is a science devoted to understanding of psychological influence on how people stay healthy, why they become ill, and how they respond when they become ill. This course is designed to get the students learn health psychology with basic knowledge of psychological nature of physical illness like head ache, heart disease, cancer, HIV, diabetes etc as well as relevant skills of assessment, prevention, intervention and rehabilitation in relation to such health problems and promotion of general well being.
