About Senior Essay
The senior essay project is an independent critical project on selected research topics, which is 224 undertaken in regular consultation with a research adviser. It aims at solving different problems or creating innovative findings and help to improve learners’ problem solving skills. Besides, it also helps them to acquire researching skills and use it in their future career. It focuses on research topics that are related to the studies undertaken by the students in their three year academic engagement. This means, it is highly depended on the students’ interest and/or curiosity, and the area of the project can be English literature, linguistics, or any of the English language skills, and Journalism & Communication. The course will be completed by public presentation of the research work, and the student is required to demonstrate competence in the area s/he is interested in, both in writing and presentation, to accomplish the required outcomes.
