About Seminar on Selected Issues in Civics and Ethical Studies
The course is designed to acquaint students of Civic and Ethical Studies with fundamental civics and Ethical issues in general global issues in general. It also deals with the historical development of globalization and its effects on economic sovereignty. The course also discusses transnational organizations argument, environmental crisis and global warming including international environmental protection efforts, political issues such as Conflicts, Terrorism, and nuclear proliferation and bad governance. Moreover, the course introduces about various current global socio-economic issues including gender and corruption, child and drug trafficking, poverty and hungry, impact of rapid population growth and HIV/ AIDS.
