About Political Anthropology
This module comprises of two related courses: Political Anthropology and Conflict and Conflict Resolution in Cross Cultural Perspective. It introduces key issues and concepts in political Anthropology; classifications, types and evolution of political systems in different types of societies; encourages students to engage in actual fieldwork on the analysis o f conflict management or settlement mechanisms in the diverse cultures.
