About Antenatal Care
This module is designed for pot basic BSc midwifery students to help acquiring the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes related with basic care during pregnancy. The module includes preventive measures, supportive care, health message and counseling, and birth preparedness and complication readiness planning that enable Midwives to provide high quality culturally acceptable care during pregnancy. This Module will be addressed through Interactive lecture, Seminar presentations, Skill Development Lab (SDL) demonstration and supervised feedbacks in simulated environment and real health care setup including ANC clinic and Obstetrics ward (Maternity ward).
